Anthony Kasimiotis was born in 1971 in Kalamata. 

Since 1989 he has been living and working permanently in Athens.

He is an amateur photographer and  a member of the photographic team  Metapolis since  2014.

My name is Vicky and I live in Athens. I’m an amateur photographer and I learnt to see things in a more thorough way through lens. People, their reactions and even their feelings are seen clearer this way. Everything has an instant meaning. Photography has been making me see things that naked eye would normally skip.

Erifili Mexa

I was born and raised in Athens and I am a private sector employee. I started photography as a hobby four years ago. From the very first moment I was drawn to street photography. I was intrigued by the idea of taking a photo without trying to change it but presenting it through my eyes. To me photography is a picture, a memory, a feeling. It is how I see everyday life.

Kalliopi Zouli

I was born and raised in Athens. My place of origin is the beautiful island of Naxos. I have studied Pharmacy at the University of Athens. Currently I am a Clinical Pharmacist in the Pharmaceutical Industry sector.
My occupation with photography goes back many years. Exploring and capturing the aspects of life and people has always been an inspiration and a motivation. Since September 2017, I have been a member of the METAPOLIS photography team and I have been taking lessons with the incredibles Y. Yiannakopoulos, K. Kourtidis and Th. Veronikis as my teachers.

Mary Karamali

I was born and raised in Lamia, from 2007 until now I live permanently in Athens. I work in a bank and in my free time Ι am also an amateurish photographer. My other hobbies are painting, traveling and music. Photography is one of my big loves since I first shot from my first camera at the age of 12 years old.

Natassa Pagani

In 2016, photography invaded my life after a series of unforeseeable incidents in the streets of the city. Then, from the passion that I encountered in amateur street photographers, Athenian Street stories were born. Maybe that’s why I handpick and love street photography a little bit more. The silent conversation with the unknown model, the unexpected, the stories that are created…. All things that stimulate and refill our senses, through photography, create emotions and reflections which probably wouldn’t exist without the experience of capturing images.

Tasos Kaimenakis

I was born and raised in Athens. I come from Astakos Aitoloakarnania. I work for many years as a driver in the delivery and courier service. A whole life on the road. I adore street photography and even more travel photography. The last 20 and more years, I travel all over the world and the main reason is for photoshooting.

Nikos Dimitropoulos

I was born and raised in Moschato of Attica. I Studied Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Since 2011 I have been working in various roles in digital transformation projects of various companies both in Greece and abroad. I have been an amateur photographer for the past 7 years. I also like travelling and dancing.

Panoraia Dara

My name is Panoraia Dara and I am working as software engineer in multinational telecommunication company. I came across with photography 2 years ago when I traveled to Mykonos during winter and since then I cannot stand without it. The thing that will always fascinate me in photography is that it makes me discover dimensions and optics I cannot see with the naked eye.

Yiannis Papanikolaou

I was born and raised in Τhessaly. I graduated from the department of Μathematics in University of Crete and worked on organic agriculture and beekeeping. Currently, I’m living and working in Athens. For the last 2 years, I’ve been studying photography with emphasis on urban, street and documentary photography and at the same time, I take part in various exhibitions or photography projects.

Constantinos Papazoglou

I was born in Constantinople and I grew up in Athens, I work in the family company. I always enjoyed walking and with the power of observation, collecting pictures composed of light, time, shapes and people after a constant alert for the image that can emerge the next moment.

Marietta Papastefanou

Marietta Papastefanou holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Athens and an MSc in Entrepreneurship from Alba Graduate Business School. She was finally won over by advertising and the last few years works as a creative copywriter. Seeking for a hobby to de-stress her from everyday pressure, she entered into photography… A hobby that evolves into love!

Stathoula Georgakopoulou

I come from Kalavryta and i live in Athens. I studied Statistics and Insurance Science at the University of Piraeus and I have a Master in Business Administration. I am a bank employee and my hobby is photography, since 2018 I have been attending photography lessons in Metapolis.
